We are pleased to announce that as of October 1, 2009 Rob Bitcon, B.Sc., has been promoted to the position of Manager for Benchmark Laboratories Calgary Ltd. (BMLC), our Calgary location.

According to Chris Bolton, CEO for the Benchmark Laboratories Group Ltd., "Rob's experience of handling analysis at every aspect of our BMLC lab for the past 2 years has uniquely trained him for this roll".  Rob had previously occupied the roll as QA/QC Manager and had successfully completed BMLC's 3rd annual ISO 17025 (2005) audit with the Canadian Association for Laboratory Accreditation Inc. (CALA).  "We couldn't have asked for more in a Lab Manager" said Bolton, "Rob is not afraid of hard work, will do what it takes to get the job done, is very easy to work with, has the respect of his staff and is always open and upfront with our clients."

Upon graduating from the University of Alberta, and prior to joining Benchmark Labs, Rob had the opportunity to travel extensively through South America.  Rob is an active skier and frisbee football player.

As BMLC's newest lab manager, Rob will be the primary contact point for all future inquiries regarding analysis packages, pricing, tracking and reports that are submitted to BMLC.
